From mentoring to pacing guides to instructional assistance and professional development opportunities, our Instructional Services staff members work hand in hand with teachers to ensure that we meet the needs of all our students at Ganado. English Language Learners
Ganado Unified School District currently has nearly 100 ELL students who are receiving services to develop their English language skills in its schools. English language development instruction includes pronunciation (phonology), word-building blocks (morphology), word order (syntax), and vocabulary (lexicon and semantics). These are foundational elements for proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. For more information about ELL, visit the Arizona Department of Education’s website.
Career Ladder Program
Ganado USD has 21 teachers, representing all three campuses in our district, who participate in the Career Ladder Program committee. The CLP teachers meet monthly to discuss instructional planning, learning standards, and best practices.

Curriculum Pacing Guides
Our staff has worked hard to prepare pacing guides our teachers will use in planning and instruction each year. We invite you to explore these guides, so you will know what your child is learning throughout the school year.
Students must pass the AIMS Assessment to earn a high school diploma. Be prepared for the upcoming testing dates.
